InterAgency Council welcomes applications for membership by newly emerging provider agencies. IAC wishes to encourage new developing providers - particularly those from the minority and inner-city communities - to take advantage of the benefits of collaboration with their colleagues in the disability community, and technical assistance from the IAC staff. IAC has therefore instituted a program of reduced and graduated membership fees for these new providers.

The Program for Emerging Providers(PEP) is available to all newly developing provider agencies - as well as to those more experienced minority social service providers who are new to the developmental disabilities field - who provide family support services and/or Medicaid Service Coordination (MSC) only. During the provider's participation in the PEP program, dues are calculated using the Associate Member rate as a minimum dues amount. As the provider's budget and resources grow, the dues would gradually increase to the regular minimum dues amount.

If you are applying for IAC membership and you feel that you qualify for PEP consideration, please indicate accordingly on your application form. The Membership Task Force will consider your request and discuss it with you at the time of application.
